A new invention in the world of safety boots claims to improve steel-toe safety boots.

The inventor of Ruth Tom’s Steel Toes says:

"My design provides added support, and it could help reduce fatigue for workers."

Steel toe boots protect workers’ feet from injuries caused by falling objects. However, not all work boots are comfortable to wear for prolonged periods. Ruth Tom’s Steel Toes addresses this issue by adding extra cushioning and therapeutic features that make steel-toe boots more comfortable to wear, as well as providing adequate protection from accidents.

It remains to be seen whether boots with Ruth Tom’s Safety Steel Toes are more comfortable to wear compared to other work boots, as boots with these steel toes are not yet available. The invention is awaiting the outcome of a patent application and is currently offered for sale or licensing by footwear manufacturers.

Not all safety boots with steel toes are uncomfortable to wear. Whilst some makes of steel-toe boots are narrower and therefore can feel tight for people with wide feet, many manufacturers have improved the comfort of their boots. Dr. Martens, for example, makes boots that are known for their comfort. Their grapple safety boots have steel toes and are lightweight with cushioning and enhanced flexibility.

Buy safety boots with steel toes that are guaranteed to have compression and impact resistance. For workers who wear boots for long periods during work, choose boots that are constructed well and that will last a long time.
